There is tension in my heart Lord. My mouth wants to throw expletives until my lungs are exhausted.
I want to release what I am feeling, but when I utter words they don't convey the turmoils within.
Lord I say nothing, but your perceptive ears pick up the heaviness in my heart Lord.
To you I whine and cry like a new born child, but you hold me firm and provide support to my fragility.
Through you I am strong, my weaknesses you cover.
When I go to the world my words fall short, but you know my heart Lord and you hear my cries.
You are the one who sees and the one who hears.
