Balcony Talks

I had a conversation with my friend James last night. I feel we see the world in a lot of similar ways although we are rooted in different places. He thinks if everyone achieves true self-love that will fix the world, but I think self-love pales in comparison of that of God and will be a byproduct if you have a relationship with Him. Some times I feel like I push my beliefs on others a bit too much. God please just give me the discernment to know when to push and when to relent. Let the multi-hour talk we had on the balcony have seeds be planted on his heart that your word is true. Some times I feel like all my deep talks with my friends have been pointing back to you Lord. A part of me feels bad, but my friend Rachel has said it best. My relationship with you God has been on my mind most of the time and we tend to gravitate towards what occupies our thoughts for conversations.
