Flies Flies Flies!

Sometimes flies gets in the house and my go to method is to camp out by the glass windows and backdoor then patiently wait. After they land on the glass I have a wet paper towel ready and then I slowly put it over them then capture them and let them outside. I often find they don’t react when you do this compared to a flyswatter when there is also a chance for you to miss! I prefer to leave them alive but sometimes it just gets too tedious.

I saw the funniest thing today though. My Dad said “let me get my rubber band”, and I’m like there’s no way this man is going to hit these flies with it. Like my tactic he waits for the fly to land on the glass pane; he gets his rubber band locked and loaded and releases. Bam dead-on hit! I’m amazed and thought “he did live in the jungle”. I proceeded to chuckle to myself as my Dad nonchalantly sits back down in his office chair and I doubted him in the first place.
